White Williams - New violence

"(...) The following song is a glowing tribute to our men and women in blue who courageously risk their lives each day, handing out tickets to people for riding their bicycles on the sidewalk. "New violence" is ridiculously excellent as is but when combined with TV Carnage the result is nothing short of a Lethal Force."

The Infinite Library

a project by Daniel Gustav Cramer and Haris Epaminonda

"The book objects (...) are each made from pages of existing books removed from their bindings and rebound as one. Some of these series loosely relate to each other via a third element: geometrical shapes abstracted from the images, computer-edited, and overprinted on the originals. The disparate image stocks become intertwined and open on one another. Having transcended any thematic organization, the loose pages now have the potential to amalgamate into an infinite number of new books. In so doing, they yield a library that defies conventional categorization."

I know where the summer goes

The New Yorker photographer Ryan McGinley presents its new exhibition "I know where the summer goes" at team gallery from April 3rd to May 3rd, 2008.

"The title of this exhibition, taken from an early B-side by Belle & Sebastian, is more than just a piece of poetic musing. McGinley does, in fact, know where his summers go. In the summer of 2007, for example, he traversed the United States with sixteen models and three assistants, shooting 4,000 rolls of film. From the resulting 150,000 photographs, he arduously narrowed down the body of work to some fifty images, the best of which are on display here at the gallery."
